I'm shocked, shocked... find out that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ignored warnings that genetically modified corn might produce allergies in humans. In fact, claims that GMO foods are tested for safety are bunk according to a new paper published in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Reviews. A summary of the paper and its findings are available here. Perhaps the most revealing finding is that the FDA relies almost entirely on safety data supplied by the companies which make the GMO seeds.

This is a very nice site. I was out looking for "clean air act statistics" and found your blog in the process.

Best of luck.
