What would Santa do?

"The Arctic ice cover will completely disappear in summer by the end of this century unless carbon dioxide emissions are significantly reduced, according to a scientific study to be released next week."
Rising sea level, huge shifts and damage to wildlife populations, and the melting of the Greenland ice sheet are just a few things we have to look forward to as global warming proceeds. In a previous post I mentioned the possibility of a rapid cooling that could accompany the melting of the Greenland ice sheet, a truly hair-raising scenario.
